About the event
I’ll be honest… I’ve never loved having to sell /fundraise. It’s hard for me to ask people to buy things. It’s always felt easier when I’m doing it for someone else.
But this one is special.
For the first time ever, AAWI is doing a fundraiser to support our 6th Annual End of Summer Dinner (September 13, 2026) which also celebrates AAWI’s 5th anniversary—growing from 10 women to 6,400 in just five years. This is our biggest event of the year, and our goal is to raise enough to lower ticket prices by at least $25, so more women can attend.
We’re also excited to introduce book scholarships for the first time ever. Our goal is to fund 4–6 scholarships of $250, with 1–2 going to a nonprofit we already have in mind, and the rest supporting children of AAWI members heading to college in 2027.
So yes… I’m asking.…
